Mei means "little sister" in mandarin and our name is a play on the word Maison, or "house" in French. Mei’s Own is a lifestyle company founded by Rebecca Eu - working with survivors of sex trafficking and local artisans in the Philippines, they create homeware pieces that provide our beneficiaries a sustainable livelihood while preserving the local art and heritage.

Their proceeds support the education and vocational opportunities for these beneficiaries to chase their dreams. The social impact they achieve with Mei's Own is only possible with the relationships we have with schools and organisations in Philippines that share our mission. The work that goes behind-the-scenes is a constant challenge, but one that they embrace for their beneficiaries.

" What started as a volunteer effort eventually turned into a small social enterprise project to better support survivors of sex trafficking and artisans I work with.

I work with talented and capable individuals. Together, we want to help you fill your home with beautiful things. I hope these pieces bring you as much joy in owning them as it has given me in their creation.
